Max and Tobby was born in Brisbane, Australia, from a deep love for dogs and the belief that their lives deserve to be celebrated.

Our joyful Pomeranian, faithful companion and daily inspiration behind Max and Tobby.
Max is my adorable Pomeranian and my faithful companion today. Tobby was our beloved Shih Tzu, who shared many special years with our family before passing away. Although he is no longer with us, his memory and the love he gave us remain an important part of our story.

Why I Created Max and Tobby
The idea began when I realised how difficult it was to find a thoughtfully designed celebration experience created especially for dogs.
I wanted something more meaningful than a collection of separate decorations. I imagined a coordinated celebration box that would help families create a beautiful moment, make their dog feel special and preserve the occasion through photographs and lasting memories.
Guided by my love for dogs and my passion for creativity, I began designing and handcrafting many of the details myself. That idea became Max and Tobby: a small Australian business devoted to celebrating the extraordinary bond between dogs and their families.
More Than a Celebration
Celebrating a dog means celebrating the life of a faithful companion who grows and grows older beside us.
They welcome us home, stay close during difficult moments and bring happiness to ordinary days. They become part of our routines, our stories and our families.
Every birthday is an opportunity to recognise that companionship and be grateful for another year together. Our products are designed to help families turn that love into a joyful and meaningful celebration.

Many of the special details in our celebration boxes are carefully handmade by me in Brisbane, Australia.
Each piece is created with care and creativity, which means small variations in colour, shape or finish may occur. These differences are part of the handmade process and make every celebration feel personal and unique.

Hello, I’m Claudia Giraldo, founder and creator of Max and Tobby.
I created this brand to honour the happiness Max brings to my life, the beautiful memories Tobby left behind and the special place every dog holds within their family.
Every product I make carries a little of that story. My hope is that Max and Tobby helps you pause, celebrate and create an unforgettable memory with the faithful companion who is always by your side.
